Shoot House - Sept 27 & 28

Two Shoot Houses are being constructed for the students in the upcoming "Personal Protection Outside the Home" Class, but it will also be open to all members afterwards. Time slots are limited.
Two complete shoot houses, one with lights and one dark.
Extra Equipment needed: Extra mags/Speed Loaders, flashlight, good judgment, good hits and nerves of steel. (Holsters are welcome but not required)

Due to the shoot houses, Ranges 1 and 3 will be closed from Friday evening, Sept. 26th until takedown is completed sometime on Sunday evening, Sept. 28th.
The closure is also noted on the club's online calendar.

Reminders to Members...

Shooter Responsibilities:
- All members are required to police their own brass (even the stuff that can't be reloaded)
- The last member to leave the range must:
- Turn off the lights
- Turn off the fans
- Turn off the heat (if applicable)
- Make sure the range doors are closed
- Reactivate the alarm upon exit (check each range and make sure there are no cars in the parking lot before doing so)
- All members and their guests must sign in and out.
- NO eating or drinking is allowed by anyone in the firing ranges.
As a member of Pine Tree Pistol Club you all have the responsibility to be mindful of the range rules but as members you are also obligated to enforce the range rules. If you see someone not following the range rules, shooting an unauthorized ammunition, or maybe forgot to sign in, please mention it to them. If you do not feel comfortable talking with them, please contact a board member or the president and we will talk to the individual.
Safety and security is everyone's responsibility.

Personal Protection Outside the Home

NRA Personal Protection Outside the Home Class
Date: September 13 & 14
Cost: $300 for Pine Tree members and $350 for non-members
The requirements are the NRA Basic Pistol class, the NRA Personal Protection in the Home class, a shooting test and an interview (at least 6 weeks before class) with the instructors.
Class is limited to 10 people.
Attendance at BOTH class days is required

Open Shooting To The Public Now 2 Days a Month!

On the 3rd & 4th Sundays of each month, there is open shooting to the public from 1:00pm - 5:00pm. The cost is $10.00.
VALID F.O.I.D. REQUIRED!!
Gun and ammo subject to Pine Tree velocity and bullet weight limitations. Min. 125gr bullet traveling at no more than 1450fps. See the approved ammo list here.
