Police Pistol Combat

Please note that there is NO PPC in April 2009 as it falls on Easter!

The Pine Tree Pistol Club in Rockford, IL is hosting NRA Police Pistol Combat matches this winter and we would like to invite you all to attend. We will be starting with the 48 round "Illinois Police Association" course that will be fired out to 25 yards and will be a challenge to everyone. Bring whatever handgun you've got a holster for, we have divisions for centerfire and .22 using either iron or optical sights.

GENERAL NOTES:

The shooting begins at 8:00am and you can sign up until 1:00pm, first come - first served.
The cost is $6.00 per course fired.
All targets will be the NRA Official Silhouette targets.
There will be divisions for Centerfire and .22 Rimfire, both divisions can use either metallic or optical sights.
The only equipment required is a pistol with at least 2 magazines (or 1 speedloader) and a holster.
No more than 6 rounds may be loaded in a magazine at a time. It's very revolver friendly, so bring out the wheelguns!!!
